Callie is an occupational therapist who graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in 2004 with honors. Callie specializes in pediatrics, sensory integration, and handwriting. She is a therapist for Summit Pediatric Therapies and provides school therapy as well as outpatient therapy.

She recently has taken courses entitled: “Autism: Building Bridges from Isolation to Integration”, “Sensorimotor Early Childhood Activity Themes”, “Going to the Heart of Autism”, as well as “Every Move Counts”.

Kelly Beck, PTA

Kelly is a physical therapy assistant at our Catoosa clinic. She is a graduate from Tulsa Community College where she received her degree in 2004. Kelly is an aerobics instructor at the Claremore Recreation Center and enjoys spending time with her fiancé.

Beth Cassody, PTA

Beth is a 2000 graduate from Tulsa Community College , and specializes in pediatrics. Beth has taken special courses entitled “Asperger’s and Autism Spectrum Disorders”; “Sensory Dysfunction” and “Prosthetic Advancements”. Beth provides physical therapy services in the schools on a routine basis. Her favorite hobbies are violin and gardening.

Colleen Caton, OTR/L

Colleen is a 1980 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas where she received her degree in Occupational Therapy. Colleen has been with Summit since 1999 and specializes in Industrial Rehabilitation with certification to perform Ergo science Work Performance Evaluations. Colleen has taken special courses in Stroke Rehab and Hand Therapy within the last two years. She enjoys scrapbooking, flower gardening and Razorback football in her spare time.

Kym Claborn, M.S., CCC – SLP
Member: ASHA (American Speech and Hearing Assoc.)

Kym is our Speech Language Pathologist for Summit Pediatric Therapies. She specializes in feeding issues of infants and children and oral motor development. Kym received her bachelor of science in 1992 from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and her masters in 1994 from the University of Oklahoma . She has received a certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association, and recently taken special courses entitled: “25 Best Oral Motor Treatment Techniques for Feeding and Articulation”, “Picture Exchange Communication System”, and “Sensory Processing Assessment and Treatment”, and “SKI • HI model of Intervention for Hearing Impaired Children”. Her spare time is spent chasing around her two small girls!

Sean Cox, RPT and co-owner

Sean graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in 1991. He is a registered physical therapist and co-owner of SUMMIT. Sean has experience in orthopedic (upper and lower extremity), sports rehab, spinal and neurological rehab and manual therapy. During his training, he spent time at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville in their Sports Medicine Program.

Sean is an active member of the Private Practice Section of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). He continually attends educational courses to stay abreast the newest findings and techniques, most recently he has attended the following courses: “Current trends in shoulder and knee rehab” and “Work injury treatment and rehab”.

Sean is a part of the Summit Sports Medicine Outreach, helping to cover sports programs for the Claremore Zebras and Sequoyah school.

Sean is a Rotarian for the Claremore Rotary Club, Youth Sunday School teacher, Board Member for the Rogers County Youth Services, Committee member for the Zebra Sports Foundation, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes Sponsor. His hobbies include golf, snow skiing and exercising, and he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids.

Brent Foster, MPT

Brent is a registered physical therapist who is a recent graduate from the University of Oklahoma . His third year electives focused on Sports and Advanced Sports. Brent treats patients at the Claremore clinic and is active with the Summit Sports Medicine Outreach helping to cover sports programs for the Verdigris Cardinals. In his spare time, Brent enjoys spending time with family, working out and picking on OSU and Texas fans.

Robyn Foxworth, M.A., CCC-SLP
Member: ASHA (American Speech & Hearing Assoc.)

Robyn is a speech-language pathologist specializing in speech and language disorders for pediatrics and geriatrics. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1986 and received her master’s degree in 1988, and the Sallie Mae 1 st year Teacher’s Award in 1989.

Robyn has taken special courses in the following: Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS), Autism, Assistive Technology, and Swallowing/Feeding issues. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and attending sporting events of her children.

Jenny Gann, RPTA

Jenny is a registered Physical Therapy Assistant providing therapy for the schools and home health. She graduated from Tulsa Junior College in 1995 with honors and specializes in geriatrics and stroke rehab. Jenny has taken special courses in the following: “Advancements in upper extremity prosthetics”, “Prosthetic Advancements – A team approach”, “Bone and Joint Disease”, and “The Neurologically Impaired Geriatric Patient: Assessment & Treatment Strategies for Patients with Balance Disorders”.

Jenny is a member of the First Baptist Church of Salina and enjoys being a wife and mother of Ashton and Graci. In her spare time she enjoys fishing, camping, water skiing and leading women’s bible studies.

Lindsay is a 2000 graduate from Tulsa Community College where she received her degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant.  She specializes in geriatrics and home health, and provides physical therapy services through our home health service.  She has recently taken a course in Certified Weight Training.  Her hobbies include collecting Depression Glass, playing volleyball and spending time with family and friends.

Sean is a physical therapy assistant for the Claremore clinic and specializes in Orthopedics. He is a 1995 graduate from the University of Missouri, Kansas City and has recently taken special courses in "Neuromobilization" and the "Biomechanics of the ankle and foot". Sean has special interests in real estate and enjoys playing the guitar and spending time with his Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs.

Scott Hamel, BSMgt, MPT
Member: APTA

Scott is a 1998 graduate from the Medical College of Georgia where he received his Masters of Physical Therapy. Scott is the manager of the Catoosa Clinic and specializes in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Spinal Dysfunction and Graston Technique.

Hamel was a recipient of APTA’s prestigious McMillan Scholarship, an honor received for scholastic achievement, character and future promise to the profession. Scott developed the Hillcrest Medical Center’s Spinal Dysfunction program, and was the coordinator of inpatient rehabilitation therapies at Hillcrest Medical Center from 2001 – 2003.

He is on the Board of Directors for the Catoosa Chamber of Commerce, provides athletic event coverage for Catoosa High School and has participated in the Catoosa Citizens Police Academy.   

In his spare time, Scott enjoys cycling, history, political science, leadership development and spending time with his wife and dogs.

Amy Hamilton, PTA

Amy is a Registered Physical Therapy Assistant specializing in Orthopedics.  She graduated from Tulsa Community College in 2000  and was on the Dean's Honor Roll for 2 years.  Amy has taken special courses in Weight Training and Pilates.  She is involved with volunteering for her church nursery, is an avid volleyball player for both church and city leagues, and enjoys horseback riding.

Erin is an athletic trainer for Claremore High School athletics. She can be seen on the sideline at football games and basketball games. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2002 with a degree in Athletic Training. She has recently taken courses entitled: “Management of the low back pain in athletics”, “Lower Extremity Casting” and a “Throwing Seminar”. In her spare time she enjoys golf, dog training, kick boxing and watching sports.

Rachel Leipzig, RPTA

Rachel is a registered physical therapy assistant working in Summit’s Claremore location. She has been an employee with Summit since 1999. She is a 1976 graduate of Tulsa Community College and specializes in Orthopedics. In 1992, Rachel received the Therapist of the Year Award from Claremore Regional Home Health and the “Catch a Shining Star” Award from Amedisys HomeCare in 2001. Rachel has recently had additional training in the following: “Effective Strength Training” and “Basic Principles of Manual Medicine and Treatment above the diaphragm”. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys gardening.

Rod McCaslin, RPT

Rod is a registered physical therapist specializing in outpatient orthopedic that has been an employee at Summit since April of 2000. He is a 1999 graduate from the University of Oklahoma. He has received additional training in the following: “Mulligan Concepts – mobilization with movement”, “The Painful Shoulder – Evidence –based upper extremity evaluation and treatment”, “Physical Therapy Management of the Knee”.

Debbie is a 1986 graduate from Western Michigan University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is a registered occupational therapist who specializes in school therapy and pediatrics. In her spare time, Debbie enjoys bike riding, making crafts and being a Girl Scout leader.

Anissa McGuire, RPT

Anissa is a registered physical therapist, and is the Pediatric Coordinator of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services for Summit Pediatric Therapies. She is a 1991 graduate from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center and specializes in pediatrics. She has recently taken courses entitled: “Asperger’s syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorders”, and “How to treat the Young Athlete”.

She and her husband are the directors for an adult sunday school class at First Baptist Church of Claremore. She enjoys exercising and participating in her kids many activities.

Bret McGuire, RPT and co-owner

Bret graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelors in Psychology in 1989 and the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in 1991. He is a registered physical therapist and co-owner of Summit Physical Therapy & Rehab. Bret has completed specialized coursework in orthopedic, neurological, sports medicine, prosthetic, aquatic, and spinal rehabilitation. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, he worked 3 years as an athletic trainer at Oklahoma State University primarily with the football, basketball and baseball teams.

Bret received special commendation from the State of Oklahoma in patient care services in 1996. In his spare time, Bret enjoys running and training for marathons and being active at First Baptist Church of Claremore.

Natalie Payne, PTA

Natalie is a physical therapy assistant for the Claremore Clinic and has been with Summit since 2003 when she graduated from Tulsa Community College. She specializes in Orthopedics, and has taken special courses in the following: “Basic Principles of Manual Medicine”, “Baseball Throwing Seminar”, Diagnosis and Treatment of the Shoulder”, and International Weightlifting Association Certification. Natalie is a sponsor for her church youth group and drama team and enjoys aerobics, jogging and outdoor activities.

Liesa Persaud, RPT

Liesa is the manager of Summit Pediatric Therapies and is a 1996 graduate of the University of Findlay in Ohio. She specializes in pediatric therapy, developmental disabilities, wheelchairs and equipment, school therapy and orthotics. Liesa has been with Summit since March of 2004 and has taken several courses in the last two years including “Treatment Strategies from Birth to 12 months”, “Therapeutic Taping in Pediatrics”, “Sign Language”, “Assessment of Foot orthotics and shoe wear”, "Sensorimotor Early Childhood/School Age Themes”, and “Sensory Integration & Behavior Strategies”. Liesa is the treasurer for OPTA and is involved in her church and enjoys running, playing with her dogs, and volunteers for Call Rape.

Allison received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan in 1991 and in 1997 received her MS, post professional degree in OT from the University of Kansas. Allison provides school-based therapy for Summit Pediatric Therapies. She specializes in pediatrics and Neuro Developmental Technique. In her spare time, Allison enjoys scrapbooking, crocheting, gardening and cooking.

Carma is a 2005 graduate from Tulsa Community College where she received her degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Carma specializes in pediatrics and geriatrics. She provides school-based therapy for Summit Pediatric Therapies. Carma has recently taken courses entitled "Handwriting without Tears" and "CPI". She is a member of Beta Sigma Phi and enjoys quilting, machine embroidery, basketball, softball and bicycling.

Wendi graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1996. She is a physical therapist who specializes in rehab of the upper extremity. She is Summit’s only certified hand therapist and began her career at Summit in October 2004. She recently attended the Philadelphia Meeting focusing on Tendon and Nerve Injuries. She is the mom of Jace and in her spare time enjoys dance classes and cooking.

Anita is a registered occupational therapist that provides therapy to children in the school setting through the services of Summit Pediatric Therapies. She is a 2000 graduate from Saint Louis University where she received her degree in occupational therapy. Anita specializes in pediatrics and is a member of the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc.

She has recently taken the following courses: “Sensory Defensiveness: A Comprehensive Treatment Approach”, “Level I Assistive Technology Training”, “Integrating the Mouth with Sensory and Postural Functions” and “Handwriting without Tears”. Anita enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, and her hobbies include playing the violin and reading mystery novels.

Steve Wilkinson, PTA

Steve is a 1998 graduate of Tulsa Community College where he received his degree as a physical therapy assistant. Steve specializes in Geriatric Rehab and provides therapy in our Claremore outpatient location.

In 2001, Steve was honored as Clinical Instructor of the Year at Tulsa Community College’s PTA program. Steve has recently taken the following courses: “Fall prevention in the Geriatric patient”, “The Neurologically impaired Geriatric Patient”, “Treatment of Cardiac Risk Patients”, and “Treatment of the Bariatric Patient”.

In his spare time, Steve enjoys fishing and the outdoors.

Rachel is a recent graduate from the OU Health Science Center in Tulsa with a Masters in physical therapy. She is a therapist at Summit Pediatric Therapies and specializes in pediatrics. She has taken courses entitled: “Early Childhood Development” and “School Therapy and the Law”. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, volunteer work, traveling and scuba diving.
