Summit Pediatric Therapies is the only outpatient therapy facility in Rogers County providing physical, occupational and speech therapy services for infants through 18 years of age in a kid-friendly environment. The facilities include a handwriting and fine motor room, speech room, sensory room, vestibular room, orthotic casting room and a well-equipped gym.

Recently expanded, Summit Pediatric Therapies now offers three observation rooms for parents to observe their child during therapy sessions without the child knowing. Rooms that may be observed include the speech room, vestibular room, and the gym.

Our enlarged gym allows for a more spacious area for therapeutic play. The gym provides activities such as basketball, soccer, golf, tennis and T-ball which help improve balance, motor coordination and strength. Our Casting room is where custom-made foot orthotics are created in order to provide children support and improved function.

The Vestibular room contains a variety of swings that are frequently used in the treatment of children with Autism, ADD or sensory-integration dysfunction. Our newly designed sensory room includes a variety of textures, aromatherapies and visual experiences.

Summit Pediatric Therapists provide physical and occupational therapy services in the following school districts: Claremore, Justus-Tiawah, Verdigris, Sequoyah, Chelsea, Inola, Chouteau, Locust Grove and Wickliffe. School-based therapy is for children having difficulty with being fully independent in the school environment. Children receiving therapy during school hours are seen typically for 30 minutes each week.

We offer Therapeutic Summer Camps for children with developmental delays, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and Aspergers. These camps are weekly for a six week period. For more information regarding the camps, please contact the clinic at 341-4343.

Summit Pediatric Therapists provide physical and occupational therapy for SoonerStart which is a state-funded program for children 0 – 3 years of age that qualify for growth or fine motor delays. Children are typically seen in their home environment or the Pediatric facility.
